This Friday evening we will have a special musical Shabbat journey with Yoel Sykes (of Nava Tehila) and Cantor Shayndel. Through chanting psalms and Shabbat prayers with original melodies and guided intentions, we will connect to the spirit and allow it to fill our hearts, uplift our souls and welcome Shabbat.
Yoel Sykes, born and raised in Jerusalem, is known through his work composing many melodies for Jewish liturgy and co-leading musical Kabbalat Shabbat services for many years. Yoel travels to synagogues around the U.S. and the world to lead transformative prayer experiences, where people can come as they are and find connection through song and community.
This service will be online through Zoom.
If you can’t join us for the entire service, join us at 7:00 PM to light Shabbat Candles
Lighting Shabbat candles always begins our evening services. Please join us at 7:00 to light Shabbat candles together. In this way we can all be “virtually” together in this time of isolation. You can stay online for the evening service if you wish.
