From the President – January 23, 2020

Hey TBH, let’s try something new!!!

Not because there is anything wrong, but just because sometimes a little change is good.

For as long as I can remember, the Purim Carnival has been basically the same. Hot dogs and sandwiches in the kitchen; games, crafts sales and a raffle or two in the synagogue. Kids and adults in historic or silly costumes. In other words – it’s fun.

But this year many in Temple Leadership are looking to try a few new ideas. Maybe new games, maybe new activities, maybe new or just different foods. BUT – and this is the part you may not want to hear – we need members involved in figuring out the new ideas. No one has a monopoly on creativity, we always do better as a community.

SO I invite everyone to come meet on Sunday January 26 after T’fillah (around 10:00 AM) and brainstorm some new life into the Purim Carnival. Be aware – you may be asked to help work on some of the plans we choose. Hopefully you will enjoy that too!

Together we can grow as a congregation because …

We are what we do. See you January 26!!!
