Purim Carnival

We had a wonderful and fun-filled Purim Carnival. No other synagogue activity brings together young and old so successfully or makes the rabbi look so silly. As of press time we do not have a final tally but it looks like our raffle was PHENOMENALLY successful and the Purim Carnival may meet or exceed budget for this year. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to have another wonderful event: those selling raffle tickets, volunteering to run the booths, and all the organizers. As soon as we have all the names we will thank you again. Special thanks to Jane Durango –chairman; Laura Taub – volunteer chairman; Doug Freifeld, David Brown – set up and cleanup; Carl Nelson – announcer; Josh Genser – prize booth; Neoma Kenwood – games; Betty Bleicher – raffle; Evelyn Hooker/Pat Trumbull – bake sale; Louise Snitz – kitchen; Arlene Lisby – everything; Audrey Berger – publicity.
